Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Lead Consultant with strong expertise in the Dairy Industry to support our SAP S/4HANA implementation programme.

The candidate must have extensive hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP), specifically within the Dairy Manufacturing Industry. Candidates with general food industry experience but without practical exposure to dairy manufacturing processes will not meet the specific requirements of this role.

The consultant will be responsible for participating in Fit-to-Standard workshops, blueprinting, documentation, solution design, system configuration, testing, identifying delta requirements, implementation activities, and end-user training. The candidate should ensure that SAP PP solutions align with business requirements, industry best practices, project schedules, and quality standards.

Technical / Functional Skills

· Strong knowledge of SAP PP and its integration with EWM/WM, QM, MM, SD, and FI/CO.

· Good understanding of SAP and third-party system integrations.

· Ability to understand, analyse, and map business requirements into SAP solutions.

· Strong knowledge of SAP manufacturing processes, particularly within the Dairy Industry.

· Ability to follow SAP best practices and standard SAP functionalities.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience Required

· Minimum 12+ years of hands-on SAP PP configuration and implementation experience.

· Mandatory:



Proven SAP PP experience in the Dairy Manufacturing Industry. Candidates must have previously worked on SAP implementation or support projects for dairy manufacturing businesses.

· Participation in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects within the Food Processing / Food Manufacturing Industry, preferably with specific Dairy Industry exposure.

· Strong understanding of discrete and process manufacturing industries.

· Extensive experience in end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing processes, including:

o Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP;).

o Forecasting and Demand Management.

o Batch Management and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

o Production Order Processing in Process Industries.

o Production Planning and Scheduling.

o Material and Product Quality Management, including PP-PI integration.

· Practical understanding of dairy-specific manufacturing processes, including milk procurement and reception, milk processing, pasteurisation, homogenisation, fermentation, production of dairy products, packaging, and batch traceability.

· Hands-on experience in Make-to-Order, Make-to-Stock, Rework Orders, Subcontracting, Production Capacity Planning, and Evaluation processes.

· Significant and proven SAP PP and Product Costing configuration experience.





· Strong understanding of integration between SAP PP and other modules, particularly SD, FI/CO, MM, QM, and EWM.

· Experience with the latest SAP S/4HANA functionalities and features.

· Experience in production order automation and related master data management.

· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in business terms.

· Good to have: Experience in activating and configuring standard SAP Fiori applications for PP processes.

Work Location and Travel Requirements

· This is an on-site position, and the selected consultant is expected to work from the designated project location.

· The consultant must be flexible and willing to travel to other project/site locations whenever required, based on business and project needs.

· The role requires close collaboration with business users, manufacturing teams, and other functional and technical consultants across different site locations.

Key Candidate Selection Criteria

1. Robust hands-on SAP PP experience with a minimum of 12+ years.

2. Mandatory prior experience working in the Dairy Manufacturing Industry.

3. Practical understanding of dairy production processes and manufacturing operations.

4. Experience in at least two full-cycle SAP implementations.

5. Strong SAP S/4HANA implementation and configuration expertise.

6. Willingness to work on-site and travel to other project locations as required.
