Key Responsibilities

- Lead QA efforts across multiple product lines, ensuring alignment with established testing processes and quality standards.
- Drive end-to-end delivery release validation with ownership, accountability, and timely closure.
- Mentor and guide team members, enabling collaborative ownership, skill development, and effective task delegation.
- Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test strategies for Linux-based systems and telecom applications.
- Perform stack-level testing across application, transport, and signalling layers.
- Validate telecom functionalities across 2G, 4G, and 5G networks, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct in-depth protocol validation for SMPP, SIGTRAN, and SS7.
- Analyze logs and signalling traces using tools such as Wireshark, sngrep, and SS7 analysers.
- Drive continuous QA process improvements, test automation integration, and CI/CD enhancements.
- Conduct test coverage reviews, root cause analysis (RCA) for field/customer issues, and prepare detailed release readiness reports.




- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Robot Framework, Pytest, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with security, scalability, and performance testing to ensure product robustness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science.
- 6+ years in system/product testing, preferably in the telecom domain.
- Robust knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and scripting (Shell/Python).
- Hands-on experience with SMPP, SIGTRAN, SS7, and core telecom protocol testing.
- Deep understanding of 2G/4G/5G technologies, including voice, messaging, and data paths.
- Expertise in analysing protocol traces and debugging network issues.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) and test lifecycle tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional testing efforts.
- Passion for quality, process adoption, and mentoring team members to deliver excellence.
