Educational qualification expected: Graduate/ Postgraduate in Data Science/Data Engineering/Software Engineering/Computer Applications

Preferred Qualifications: MBA (Finance/Business Analytics/Data Analytics)

Preferred Certifications: SQL / Advanced Database Certifications, Data Engineering certifications, Big Data (Spark, Hadoop) Certifications, Informatica / Talend certifications, Oracle / Teradata certifications, Microsoft Data / Power BI certifications

Preferred geography of previous work experience: UAE / India / Europe / APAC / US • Language requirements: Ability to write and speak fluently in English

Application experience required: Banking domain knowledge, understanding of Financial products, understanding of Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, Asset Liability Management (ALM) modelling and reporting.

Travel required: Yes to UAE on a medium to long-term basis.

Key responsibility areas:

PL/SQL & Database Development:



Design, optimize, and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views tailored for data transformation and aggregation.

Data Extraction & ETL: Develop and execute high-performance ETL/batch integration frameworks to move financial records from Core Banking Systems (e.g., Finacle, Temenos) to specialized risk databases.

Functional Interpretation: Translate updated CBUAE BRF manuals and circulars into technical schema and data validation logic.

Source-to-Target Data Mapping: Author functional and technical specifications alongside comprehensive source-to-target data mappings to ensure end-to-end data lineage and auditability Reporting Architecture Support: Configure, test, and debug regulatory logic inside banking platform engines

Reconciliation & Validation: Perform rigorous data reconciliation and validation dry-runs against cross-form dependencies (e.g., ensuring consistency between Capital, Credit, and Liquidity forms).

Testing Lifecycle: Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-go-live technical validation alongside Risk and Compliance teams.

Probation period: 6 months

Compensation: Compensation varies depending on the skill, fitment and role played by the person. Compensation discussions will take place post the selection process.
