We are an early-stage startup run by a lean, execution-focused person founding team based in Delhi. We are currently building our core product and need an experienced technical sounding board. We aren't looking for someone to build or write code; we are looking for senior-level judgment to ensure we make the right architectural decisions and navigate technical bottlenecks smoothly.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Advisory-only Solution Architect for a contract engagement , distributed flexibly over the next 2 months (approximately 15–20 hours per month).
Your primary responsibility is to be our guide us in python driven environment , and help us.
What You Will Do (Scope of Work):
• Unblock the Team: Act as the escalation point when the founding/development team gets stuck on complex technical, infrastructure, or integration issues.
• Architectural Sanity Checks: Review tech-stack choices, database schemas, and system designs to ensure they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
• Infrastructure Guidance: Provide best-practice recommendations for cloud architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure), deployment pipelines, and third-party API integrations.
• Strategic Advisory: Help us avoid technical debt and expensive engineering mistakes before they happen.
What You Will NOT Do:
• No Project Management:
You are not managing daily deliverables or sprint planning. Your time is strictly reserved for high-value technical advisory.
Who You Are
• Experienced Tech Leader: 10-12+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2–3 years acting as a Solution Architect, Tech Lead, or Principal Engineer.
• Startup-Savvy: You understand how to build leanly. You don't over-engineer solutions and appreciate the constraints of an early-stage budget.
• Outstanding Communicator: Ability to break down highly complex infrastructure problems into simple, actionable decisions for the founding team.
• Delhi-Based (Preferred): While the work is largely remote, being based in or near Delhi for occasional face-to-face strategic syncs is a must.
• Duration: 100-hour total pool, spaced out across 2-3 months based on mutual availability.
• Structure: Flexible hourly billing (including micro-billing for short calls/reviews) with a mutually agreed response time (SLA) when we hit an urgent block.
• Budget: 50 K based on Competitive, realistic hourly INR rate based on your seniority and experience.(Negotiable)
