Role Description The Store Manager role at Canny Heads Consulting is a full-time, on-site position based in Thanjavur.

The Store

Manager will oversee daily store operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and coordination of tasks to ensure smooth functioning.

Responsibilities include managing inventory, maintaining visual standards, monitoring sales performance, and implementing retail loss prevention measures. The role involves engaging with customers, resolving concerns, and driving high levels of customer satisfaction and service.

Qualifications

- Solid customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with customers, guiding team members, and coordinating with management.
- Proficiency in Store Management, including staff supervision, inventory oversight, and daily operations in a retail environment.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrinkage and ensure compliance with store policies.
- Prior experience in retail or store management, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Ability to work on-site in Thanjavur, manage multiple priorities, and make data-informed decisions.
- Basic proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and standard office productivity tools.
- Relevant education such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field is an advantage.
