Role Description The Steward role at Magnolia Bakery India is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, and ensuring that all workstations are well-organized. This role supports the food and beverage team by assisting with basic food preparation tasks, replenishing supplies, and handling waste disposal in line with safety and sanitation guidelines.





The Steward also helps set up and break down service areas, ensuring that guest-facing spaces are neat and presentable. Collaboration with the kitchen and front-of-house teams is essential to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to support guests and work effectively with team members.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including basic kitchen practices and hygiene standards.
- Ability to participate in Training and follow standard operating procedures for safety, sanitation, and quality.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in a bakery, café, or restaurant environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene regulations; willingness to learn and improve continuously.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
