Job Purpose To supervise, plan, and execute daily manufacturing operations, ensuring high-quality drug production, strict compliance with current Valuable Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and adherence to safety standards while maximizing production efficiency and managing staff within the manufacturing unit.

Roles Of Sr.

Production

Officer

- Carry out monthly production and daily production planning.
- Carry out manufacturing and packaging processes as per the Batch Manufacturing Record without deviation in the processes.
- Assist or lead in the investigation and reporting of incidents
- Obtain approval for any deviation, reprocessing or rework that needs to be done.
- Carry out regular In Process Control of all the control parameters as mentioned in the Batch Manufacturing Record.
- Obtain the timely report of shortage of materials and plan accordingly as per material availability.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Planning and organizing staff duties and allocation




- Intimating plant or machinery breakdowns to maintenance technicians or maintenance head in case of any breakdown.
- Motivating production team for better output and quality
- Identifying training needs of sub-ordinates
- Handles technical problems in production of drug products and other production related issues.
- Ensure proper interdepartmental and intradepartmental communication related to the production activities.
- Checking and filling of the batch manufacturing records.
- Work and plan effectively for the waste minimization, productivity improvement and its efficiency

Required Competencies

- He/She should be a pharmacist with a minimum of B. Pharmacy/M. Pharmacy degree with at least 2-3 years’ experience
- Knowledge and skills related to manufacturing processes, packaging science and GMP related to tablets, capsules, powder for reconstitution, external preparations, sterile preparation, oral liquids,
- Knowledge of MS Office / ERP software
- Pharma Solution software knowledge will give additional advantage.

Language Skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skill.
