Role Description The Solar EPC Engineer will manage end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction activities for solar power projects at the Chennai facility. This full-time, in office role includes designing solar PV systems, preparing technical drawings and layouts, and performing energy yield calculations. The engineer will coordinate with vendors and contractors for material procurement, oversee installation and commissioning, and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety practices.

Daily responsibilities include reviewing project specifications, conducting site assessments, resolving technical issues, monitoring project schedules and budgets,



and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within quality parameters.

Qualifications

- Strong solar PV engineering skills, including system design, component selection, and performance analysis.
- Experience with EPC project execution, covering planning, procurement coordination, construction supervision, and commissioning.
- Proficiency with engineering tools and software such as CAD for layouts and relevant solar design or simulation tools.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical fundamentals relevant to solar installations, along with applicable codes and safety standards.
- Effective project management, including scheduling, resource coordination, documentation, and reporting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related engineering discipline; advanced certifications in solar PV or EPC project management are an advantage.
- Prior experience in utility-scale or commercial solar projects and familiarity with quality control processes in module assembly is beneficial.
