Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern will support Tako Fitness in building an engaging online presence across key social media platforms. This internship role is hybrid, based in Mumbai, with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with social media content creation, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments or messages in a timely and brand-consistent manner.

The intern will help execute social media campaigns, track basic performance metrics, and share insights that can improve reach and engagement.



The role also includes collaborating with the marketing team on digital initiatives, researching trends in fitness and wellness, and contributing creative ideas that reflect Tako’s mission of movement that fits real life.

Qualifications

- Ability to effectively support Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation, including planning posts and crafting platform-appropriate content.
- Foundational understanding of Digital Marketing and Marketing principles, especially as they relate to brand awareness and audience engagement.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear writing, concise messaging, and skilled online interaction.
- Interest in fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brands and an understanding of current social media trends and best practices.
- Comfort using social media management tools and basic analytics features (e.g., Instagram Insights, TikTok analytics, Meta Business Suite).
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Mumbai, manage time independently, and collaborate with cross-functional team members.
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred, but candidates from other disciplines with relevant skills are welcome.
