Role Description The Researcher role at MoveBuddy is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Researcher will be responsible for conducting market and user research to understand commuter behavior, preferences, and pain points related to shared mobility and bikepooling. Daily activities include designing surveys and interview guides, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and generating insights to inform product features, pricing, and growth strategies.

The role also involves monitoring industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes in urban mobility and transportation. The Researcher will collaborate closely with product, operations,



and marketing teams to translate research findings into actionable recommendations and clear reports.

Qualifications

- Ability to conduct structured and unstructured research, including surveys, interviews, and observational studies.
- Solid analytical skills with experience in data analysis, interpretation of findings, and preparation of concise research reports.
- Comfort with user research methods and usability testing to evaluate product features and commuter experience.
- Effective communication skills to present insights clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented approach, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple research projects.
- Familiarity with urban mobility, shared transportation, or consumer technology products is an advantage.
- Proficiency with basic research tools and spreadsheets; experience with analytics or survey platforms is a plus.

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Transportation Studies, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Bengaluru and engage with local commuters and partners as needed.
