Plan, organize, direct, monitor and Control all production & maintenance activities of Linen Yarn (Plant-I, II & III) to produce quality products at targeted efficiency within specified budget & delivery Schedule for satisfying internal & external customers.

Job Context & Major Challenges

Job Challenges:Flax Spinning is the only manufacturing unit of its type in India.

Documented technology and the expertise are privy of established West European quality manufacturers, thus are not available. We have to solely depend on our own hands on experience and skill so far as the selection of Raw materials and manufacturing process is concerned.

Being an old unit, most of our equipment is old.



With very little support from machinery manufacturer proper up keep of machines to deliver World class quality and productivity is a major challenge.

The product, Linen yarn still enjoys Some duty protection in the domestic market, which is being gradually phased out. The major challenge therefore is to reduce the manufacturing cost to that extent to remain competitive in the Global market.

- Compete European spinners with quality and Chinese spinners with cost.
- Continuously improve plant productivity to benchmark level.
- Thrive to achieve targeted recovery% so that profitability is optimised
