Role Description The Owner role at GPJP is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the Owner oversees the strategic direction of the platform, including defining priorities, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring alignment with GPJP’s mission of expanding access to opportunities. Daily responsibilities may include managing key partnerships, guiding platform content and opportunity curation, and monitoring performance metrics to improve user engagement.

The Owner will also coordinate with collaborators, volunteers, and service providers,



ensuring that operations run smoothly and that the platform remains accessible, inclusive, and user-centered. This role involves high-level decision-making, light administrative oversight, and regular communication with stakeholders across different regions.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in leadership, entrepreneurship, or ownership of a project, initiative, or organization.
- Robust strategic thinking, planning, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on impact and sustainability.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to work with diverse partners and users across cultures.
- Comfort with digital tools and platforms, including basic understanding of online content management, social media, and user engagement.
- Background or strong interest in career development, education, economic empowerment, or related fields is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively in a part-time capacity, and coordinate hybrid work in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- Relevant academic or professional experience in business, social entrepreneurship, international development, or a related discipline is a plus.
