Soul Rebel Cannabis Co. is a licensed cannabis retailer in Ontario, Canada. This role is data and operations work only; there is no product handling.

THE JOB

You'll work directly with our CEO and support a small team of mid-level staff. Your job is to see how work really gets done, find the waste, and fix it.

Sometimes the fix is a better process: a Kanban board, a checklist, a cleaner handoff. Often it's a tool you build with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor or similar): reports pulled from our POS (Blaze Greenline) and supplier website APIs, automated data entry, and manual steps removed. You won't start from zero: a previous analyst's API integration is in our GitHub.

YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS

- Days 1–30: take over our reporting code. Find and fix its errors, deploy it to Railway, and add our newly acquired stores.
- Days 31–60: overhaul our administration manager's workload, starting with quick fixes in Claude so her recurring reports run consistently and without errors.
- Days 61–90: do the same for our marketing team.
- Throughout: measure time before and after every change, and report hours saved per week.

YOU'RE A FIT IF YOU
- Think like an industrial engineer: measure first, then redesign
- Write explicit, short English that a busy CEO and a new hire can both act on




- Are comfortable with business math: margin vs. markup, inventory turns, what an hour saved is worth
- Have built something real with AI coding tools, scripts or automation platforms, and can show it
- Pick the simple fix that people will actually use

NICE TO HAVE

Retail, e-commerce or supply-chain operations; Python or SQL; Lean, Six Sigma or Kanban experience; an industrial engineering or operations degree.

TERMS

- Full-time independent contractor, ongoing, with a 90-day review
- ₹1,20,000–1,60,000 per month, paid monthly via Wise
- Remote from anywhere in India; start as soon as possible (tell us your notice period)
- Daily overlap with Toronto, 8:00–11:00 a.m. Eastern (6:30–9:30 p.m. IST in winter; 5:30–8:30 p.m. IST in summer)

OUR PROCESS (ABOUT 2 WEEKS)

Application → short written questions and a 2-minute video → 30-minute video call → paid take-home (₹4,000, about 3 hours) → final interview with the CEO.
