Role Description The Master's in Tourism & Travel Management | Front Office & Hospitality Professional | Aspiring Educator role at Vision X is a full-time, on-site position located in Kozhikode. The role involves managing front office operations, including guest check-in and check-out, reservations, and responding to inquiries in a professional and welcoming manner. The qualified will support day-to-day hospitality services, coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences, and help maintain service standards and operational efficiency.

In addition, the role includes contributing to internal training activities, assisting with educational content for staff development, and sharing tourism and travel management insights with team members and trainees. The position requires consistent interaction with guests, colleagues, and learners, with an emphasis on communication, organization, and a strong service mindset.





Qualifications

- Academic and domain expertise: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Tourism & Travel Management or Hospitality Management, with a solid understanding of tourism operations, hospitality services, and front office procedures.
- Front office and hospitality skills: Experience in reservations, guest relations, check-in/check-out processes, handling inquiries, and coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless service.
- Teaching and training aptitude: Demonstrated interest in education, mentoring, or training, with the ability to prepare basic learning materials, support workshops, and communicate concepts clearly to learners.
- Communication and interpersonal skills: Strong spoken and written communication in English (additional local or foreign languages are an advantage), active listening, conflict resolution, and a courteous, client-focused approach.
- Organizational and administrative skills: Ability to manage schedules, maintain records, work with booking and property management systems, and handle multiple tasks accurately and on time.
- Professional qualities: Commitment to inclusivity and non-discriminatory practices, reliability in on-site work, willingness to work in shifts if required, and readiness to learn and adapt to evolving hospitality and education needs.
- Preferred experience: Prior experience in hotel front office operations, travel agencies, tourism organizations, or academic support roles; familiarity with basic computer applications and hospitality software is beneficial.
