Role Description The Lead Deployment Engineer role at Superfan.ng is a full time, remote position responsible for overseeing the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the platform across development, staging, and production environments. In this role, you will lead deployment planning, coordinate releases, and ensure system reliability and performance. You will manage integration with external services, troubleshoot deployment issues, and provide technical support to internal teams.

Daily tasks include monitoring systems, optimizing infrastructure, collaborating with engineering and product teams, documenting deployment processes, and driving best practices in automation and continuous delivery.



You will also mentor team members on deployment techniques and contribute to improving operational efficiency and user experience.

Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills to diagnose, resolve, and prevent deployment and production issues.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts to manage connectivity, security, and performance across distributed systems.
- Experience with integration between applications, APIs, and third-party services to ensure seamless platform functionality.
- Proficiency with operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows) and environment configuration for reliable deployments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and version control systems (e.g., Git) for streamlined releases.
- Background in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in edtech, language learning, or culturally focused products is a plus.
