Role Description The HVAC Sales Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves identifying and developing business opportunities for HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and ventilation solutions, including meeting with clients, understanding technical and commercial requirements, and preparing proposals and quotations. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing project specifications, coordinating with design and engineering teams, supporting system design suggestions, and providing technical presentations and product demonstrations.

The HVAC Sales Engineer will follow up on leads, manage the sales pipeline, negotiate contracts,



and support clients during project execution to ensure timely delivery and installation. The role also requires maintaining accurate documentation, preparing regular sales reports, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in HVAC Engineering and HVAC systems, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and apply industry standards.
- Experience in HVAC Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to support system selection, layout review, and basic design support.
- Knowledge of HVAC Maintenance & Repair practices to discuss lifecycle performance, service requirements, and reliability with clients.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in technical sales, project sales, or business development in HVAC or building services is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear business terms.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with reading drawings, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Ability to work on-site with clients and project teams in Mumbai, with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
