The role

Senior Designer · Full-time · Mumbai, on-site · 6 days a week

Hands-on, individual contributor

You take a style from sketch to finished product, yourself. You make the tech pack, find the fabric, submit the design, follow it through sampling and fit, and see it into production. This is not a team-lead role. You own every step and get it done.

What you'll do

1. Design. Turn briefs and trend direction into commercial styles for our categories and customers.
2. Build the tech pack. Create complete, accurate tech packs — flats, measurements, construction, trims, colourways and grading.
3. Source fabric and trims. Find the right fabrics and trims at the right cost, in-house, and confirm availability before you submit.
4. Submit the design. Get styles submitted to the platform and the vendor on time, with everything they need to start.
5. Run sampling. Follow up with vendors, review samples, give fit and construction comments, and push for corrections until the sample is right.
6. Approve and hand over to production. Sign off the final sample and make sure bulk matches it.
7. Keep it on cost and on time. Hit the cost bracket and sampling deadlines for every style you own.
8. Track your styles. Keep your style status updated so anyone can see where each one stands.

What success looks like

- Tech packs go out right the first time,



with minimal vendor queries.
- Most fabric is sourced in-house, within cost.
- Samples are approved within the planned number of rounds.
- Final products match the approved design and sample.
- Every style you own hits its submission and sampling deadlines.

What we're looking for

- 4–6 years of hands-on design experience at a brand, export house or fast-fashion business.
- Robust tech pack skills. You build them yourself, accurately, every time.
- Fabric and trim knowledge. You know fibres, weaves, knits, GSM, finishes and where to source them.
- Sampling and fit experience. You have run samples with vendors and know how to fix fit and construction.
- Garment construction and costing. You design with cost and manufacturing in mind.
- Self-driven. You work independently, manage your own timelines and don't wait to be chased.
- Tools. Illustrator and Photoshop are a must; CLO 3D is a plus.
- A degree in fashion design or a related field (NIFT, Pearl or equivalent) is preferred.

Nice to have

- Experience in Women's Apparel
- Experience designing for marketplace or fast-fashion brands.
- Exposure to US, UK or EU sizing and customers.
