Role Description The Event Decor Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position is responsible for conceptualizing and executing decor themes for a variety of events, including weddings, corporate functions, and special occasions. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with clients and internal teams to understand event requirements, designing decor layouts, selecting and sourcing materials, and supervising setup and teardown at event venues.

The specialist ensures decor elements align with brand and client expectations, coordinates with vendors and suppliers, manages decor timelines,



and maintains quality and safety standards throughout the event.

Qualifications

- Robust Customer Service skills to understand client needs, manage expectations, and provide a positive on-site experience.
- Excellent Communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams, and for presenting decor concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Event Planning to design decor layouts, manage timelines, and oversee on-site setup and teardown.
- Knowledge of Event Marketing and Sales to support proposal development, pitch decor concepts, and contribute to business growth.
- Experience with venue coordination, vendor management, and budgeting for decor materials and services.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
- Strong visual design sense, creativity, and familiarity with current event decor trends.
- Prior experience in event decor, event management, or related fields; a diploma or degree in event management, design, or hospitality is an advantage.
