Role Description The Deployment Engineer is a full-time, remote role responsible for ensuring smooth implementation, configuration, and rollout of Superfan.ng’s platform for users and partners. Day-to-day tasks include deploying new releases and updates, configuring environments, and integrating platform components with relevant services. The person in this role will monitor system performance, resolve deployment-related issues, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and support teams to maintain reliable operations.

They will also create and maintain deployment documentation, support incident response,



and contribute to continuous improvement of deployment processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve deployment and production issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Networking and Integration skills to connect services, manage APIs, and ensure seamless communication between platform components.
- Candidates should possess solid Operating Systems knowledge (e.g., Linux, macOS, Windows) for configuring, securing, and maintaining deployment environments.
- Experience with modern deployment tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, version control, containerization) is beneficial.
- Solid analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
- Familiarity with edtech platforms, mobile applications, or culturally focused digital products is an advantage.
- A degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
