Role Description The Career Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for guiding individuals in their academic and professional pathways. The role involves conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, assessing interests and competencies, and helping individuals make informed decisions about education, training, and career options.

The Career

Advisor will design and deliver workshops on career development topics, resume and interview preparation, and job search strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate records,



collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and staying current with labor market trends and industry opportunities. The role also requires proactive communication, periodic reporting on outcomes, and contributing to continuous improvement of counseling processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Career Counseling and Career Development to support individuals in making informed academic and professional decisions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Career Management to help individuals plan long-term growth, set goals, and navigate career transitions.
- Candidates should possess experience in Student Counseling to address educational choices, skill-building needs, and readiness for the workforce.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to present to groups.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychology, counseling, human resources, education, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in academic advising, career services, talent acquisition, or workforce development is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build trust with diverse individuals and groups.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort using digital tools, databases, and online career resources.
