Role Description The Area Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Kolkata Area.

The Area

Manager will oversee sales and distribution activities within the assigned region, including managing branch operations, guiding field teams, and ensuring achievement of business targets. Daily responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, driving customer acquisition and retention, and implementing company strategies and processes in line with regulatory and internal guidelines. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams,



supporting training and development of staff, resolving escalated customer issues, and contributing to local market initiatives that strengthen the brand and improve service quality.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability in regional sales management, branch or territory supervision, and team leadership.
- Experience in insurance or financial services, with knowledge of life insurance products and regulatory requirements.
- Solid skills in customer relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in data analysis, performance tracking, and using digital tools or CRM systems to manage operations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Proven capability in planning, organizing, and executing market initiatives in both urban and rural segments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area, with flexibility to travel within the region as required.
