Role Description The Area Collections Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Ghazipur, responsible for overseeing collections activities within a designated geographic area. This position involves managing and guiding a team of collection officers, monitoring portfolio performance, and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding dues in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The Area Collections

Manager will analyze collection data, develop action plans to reduce delinquencies, and coordinate field visits and customer meetings to negotiate and resolve payment issues. The role includes collaboration with branch teams and other departments, maintaining accurate records, preparing regular reports,



and implementing process improvements to optimize collection efficiency. The manager is expected to uphold ethical collection practices, support customer relationships, and contribute to overall business performance and risk management.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in collections management, recovery operations, or credit control within financial services or related industries.
- Proficiency in portfolio analysis, tracking key collection metrics, and using MIS or reporting tools to drive decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate field and office-based teams to achieve collection targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills for engaging with customers and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of lending products, collection policies, and regulatory and compliance requirements in India.
- Ability to work on-site in Ghazipur, conduct field visits, and adapt to local market conditions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to documentation accuracy and process discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and digital tools used for collection tracking and reporting.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer-centric approach while handling sensitive collection situations.
