Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Advocate role located in Deoria. The Advocate will represent clients in civil matters, including drafting petitions, preparing case files, and appearing before appropriate courts and authorities. Daily responsibilities include client consultation, legal research, reviewing relevant statutes and case law, and preparing written submissions and arguments.

The role also involves coordinating with court staff, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring timely filing of applications and pleadings. The Advocate is expected to uphold professional ethics, maintain client confidentiality, and contribute to the efficient functioning of the legal process.





Qualifications

- Strong legal research and analytical abilities, with the capacity to interpret statutes, case law, and procedural rules.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents such as petitions, affidavits, notices, and written arguments.
- Effective client communication and counseling skills, including the ability to explain legal options in transparent, accessible language.
- Solid advocacy and courtroom skills, including presenting arguments, examining witnesses, and adhering to court decorum.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple cases, deadlines, and court schedules.
- Commitment to skilled ethics, confidentiality, and impartiality in all client and court interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution and valid enrollment with the appropriate Bar Council.
- Familiarity with civil laws, procedural codes, and local court practices in Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other legal professionals, support staff, and court administration.
