Job Description: Job Title: Oracle Cloud ERP Data Conversion Technical Consultant

Overall Experience: 7+ years in Oracle ERP (EBS and/or Fusion Cloud) implementations

Relevant Experience: 4+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud data conversion/migration, including at least 2 full end-to-end implementations

Domain: Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Finance and/or SCM

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Conversion Technical Consultant to own and deliver data conversion workstreams on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP programs. You will lead the technical execution of conversion across multiple mock and cutover cycles, covering data mapping, FBDI/HDL loads, error resolution and reconciliation. You will work closely with clients, project managers, functional consultants and technical teams, and will act as a subject-matter expert and mentor within the conversion team.

Mandatory Skills

SQL & PL/SQL: Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, validation and reconciliation.

Oracle Fusion Cloud: Hands-on experience across at least 2 3 modules in Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA, PA, Cash Management) or SCM (Inventory, Procurement, Order Management), with a clear understanding of end-to-end business processes.

FBDI: Proven, hands-on experience preparing and loading data through FBDI templates across multiple modules, including a detailed understanding of template columns, dependencies and load sequence.

ESS Jobs & Data Load: Experience running Oracle standard ESS jobs and import processes, and analysing and resolving load errors and rejections.

BI Reporting: Good working knowledge of developing BI Publisher / OTBI reports, including reconciliation reports.





Cycle Ownership: Experience owning conversion deliverables in a multi-cycle implementation (mock loads, UAT, cutover and go-live support).

Ownership: Ability to work independently, manage deliverables to deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team.

Good to Have

Exposure to HDL templates and the HCM data load process; familiarity with ADFDI.

Working knowledge of Oracle EBS modules and EBS-to-Fusion migration approaches.

Basic knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and Python for automation and validation.

Experience with Alteryx or other data preparation/ETL tools.

Experience leading or mentoring junior consultants.

Client-facing experience with excellent verbal and written communication.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients and functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data mapping documents for conversion.

Lead the execution of data conversion across multiple cycles, including extraction, cleansing, transformation, load and reconciliation.

Debug and troubleshoot Oracle rejection reasons and load failures, and drive them to resolution with clear root-cause analysis.

Define and apply conversion best practices, including load sequencing,



validation checks and reconciliation controls.

Work with cross-functional teams to understand the downstream impact of converted data.

Support cutover planning and go-live conversion activities, including defect tracking and issue resolution.

Build, migrate and deploy reconciliation reports across Oracle Cloud environments.

Document technical specifications, configurations, load procedures and runbooks.

Mentor junior team members and provide guidance to project teams throughout the conversion lifecycle.

Stay current with Oracle quarterly releases and enhancements that affect data conversion.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. Oracle Cloud certifications are a plus.

7+ years of overall experience as an Oracle ERP technical or implementation consultant, with strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications and their underlying data models.

In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud conversion approaches (FBDI, HDL, ADFDI) and the right method for each data entity across modules.

Robust problem-solving and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.

Experience with the full SDLC: requirements, analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.
