- Cloud Platforms (Primary: AWS): Solid hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Route 53, ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling, Cloud Watch, EKS/ECS, Lambda, KMS, and AWS Secrets Manager. Understanding of cloud architecture, high availability, scalability, security, and cost optimization. Exposure to Azure or GCP is an added advantage.
- CI/CD & Release Management: Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops; automated build, testing, security scanning, deployment, release management, and rollback strategies.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, AWS EKS/ECS; container deployment, orchestration, scaling, networking, and security.
- Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, Ansible, or equivalent tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment automation.
- Underlying Cloud Infrastructure: Good understanding of underlying cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, operating systems (Linux), resource allocation, high availability, and distributed systems, with the ability to troubleshoot issues across infrastructure and application layers.
- Scripting & Programming: Python, Bash etc..for automation, operational tasks, infrastructure management, and troubleshooting.
- Security & Dev SecOps: AWS IAM, RBAC, authentication (AuthN), authorization (AuthZ), secrets management, encryption, TLS, SAST, DAST, Software Composition Analysis (SCA),



vulnerability management, and secure deployment practices.
- Database & Data Management: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS RDS/Aurora, or equivalent; database backup, snapshotting, replication, recovery, versioning, and schema migration/evolution.
- Cloud Networking: AWS VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, security groups, Network ACLs, ALB/NLB, DNS, Route 53, VPN, ingress controllers, service discovery, and network segmentation.
- Monitoring & Observability: AWS Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Open Search, or equivalent; infrastructure and application monitoring, centralized logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
- Version Control & Collaboration: Git, Git Hub, Git Lab, Bitbucket; branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
- Data Protection & Governance: Understanding of data residency, data sovereignty, encryption at rest and in transit, data classification, access control, retention, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- 8-14 years of relevant experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering, with substantial hands-on experience in AWS cloud environments.
- Strong practical experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and automated release processes.
- Hands-on experience in provisioning, configuring, securing, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Practical experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes,



preferably AWS EKS.
- Good understanding of cloud-native application architectures, microservices, distributed systems, and application deployment patterns.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and automation to establish repeatable, consistent, and scalable environments.
- Good understanding of cloud networking, application connectivity, load balancing, service discovery, and network security.
- Ability to implement and integrate security best practices across the application development and deployment lifecycle.
- Understanding of database operations, backup and recovery strategies, data protection, and database changes across application releases.
- Ability to identify infrastructure, application deployment, performance, and security risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident troubleshooting practices.
- Understanding of cloud availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and infrastructure cost optimization.
- Ability to work effectively with developers, QA engineers, architects, project managers, and security teams to achieve project and operational objectives.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues, document solutions, and participate in technical discussions.
- Solid ownership and accountability, with the ability to independently manage technical assignments, prioritize activities, and deliver within agreed timelines.
- Willingness to learn emerging technologies, share knowledge, mentor team members, and continuously improve existing processes and practices.
