Assistant Manager / Manager – Payroll & Statutory Compliance

Industry: Construction / Infrastructure / Solar Energy
Experience: 6–15Years
Qualification: Any Graduate with Master or Diploma in relevant field (MPM pref.)

Key Responsibilities
Independently manage monthly payroll, salary calculations, attendance inputs, deductions, arrears and Full & Final settlements.
Handle EPF, ESIC, Qualified Tax, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, TDS and other applicable statutory compliances.
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, including Minimum Wages, Contract Labour Act, BOCW Act, Shops & Establishments and Maternity Perk Act.
Manage contractor and project-site labour compliance, including licences, registrations, wage records, PF/ESIC challans and BOCW requirements.
Ensure timely statutory returns, challans, renewals, audits and regulatory submissions.
Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, Projects and HR team members for payroll inputs and compliance documentation.




Maintain statutory records, compliance calendars and monthly MIS.

Required Experience & Skills
6–15 years of hands-on experience in payroll and statutory compliance.
Solid practical knowledge of Indian labour laws and payroll calculations.
Construction, EPC, infrastructure or engineering industry experience preferred.
Experience in contractor compliance and statutory audits.
Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll/HRMS software.
Ability to independently manage responsibilities, deadlines and coordination.

Reporting To: Head – HR

Expectation: Ability to independently handle payroll and statutory compliance functions with complete ownership, accuracy and accountability.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
