We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our team at the Exide Centre, Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students regarding available courses, career opportunities, and academic programs.
Handle student enquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, and online leads.
Understand students' educational backgrounds and career aspirations to recommend suitable courses.
Explain course curriculum, duration, fees, admission procedures, and placement assistance.
Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
Maintain effective communication with students and parents to address their queries.




Achieve monthly admission and counselling targets.
Maintain accurate records of student enquiries, follow-ups, and admission status in CRM/ERP systems.
Coordinate with the academic, marketing, and placement teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
Participate in promotional activities, seminars, and student engagement programs.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Graduate in any discipline; MBA or relevant qualification will be preferred.
1–3 years of experience in academic counselling, educational sales, admissions, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong convincing, negotiation, and follow-up abilities.
Target-oriented mindset with a passion for student counselling.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and CRM/ERP systems.
Ability to build strong relationships with students and parents.
