Accountant (Payroll)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities Accounting
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies.
Record daily accounting transactions and maintain the general ledger.
Perform bank, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Support external and internal audits by providing the required documentation.
Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT, and other statutory requirements.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable when required.

Payroll
Process monthly payroll accurately and within the scheduled timelines.
Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, allowances, deductions, and reimbursements.
Prepare payroll journals and reconcile payroll-related accounts.
Coordinate with the HR department regarding employee onboarding, exits, salary revisions, and payroll updates.




Maintain payroll records while ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA inter, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

Experience
3–5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years handling UAE payroll.
Experience in month-end closing, financial reporting, and payroll accounting.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial and payroll information.

Pay: ₹20,000.17 - ₹40,000.24 per month
