Key Responsibilities:
Assist ophthalmologists during patient examinations and minor procedures
Conduct preliminary eye assessments (visual acuity, basic vision tests) under

supervision
Prepare and maintain ophthalmic instruments and diagnostic equipment
Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and handling of ophthalmic devices
Support in diagnostic procedures such as tonometry, refraction support, and imaging

(as trained)
Maintain accurate patient records and assist in documentation
Manage patient flow, appointment coordination, and basic administrative tasks
Provide patients with instructions on eye care, medication use, and follow-up visits




Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Assist in inventory management of ophthalmic supplies and consumables

Key Skills & Competencies:
Basic knowledge of ophthalmic instruments and vision testing
Understanding of infection control practices
Valuable communication and patient interaction skills
Basic documentation and computer skills
Time management and coordination

Educational Qualification: 10th/12th + Certificate/Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant

Course / Vision Technician/B.Sc. Optomtery

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
