Job Description: Senior Costing Manager

Location: Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Costing Manager to oversee costing, budgeting, financial analysis, and cost optimization activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, expertise in cost management, and the ability to improve profitability through effective cost control and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor cost accounting systems and procedures.
Analyze product, production, material, and operational costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates.
Monitor actual costs against budgets and investigate variances.
Conduct profitability analysis and provide actionable financial insights to management.
Coordinate with procurement, production, finance, and operations teams to optimize costs.
Prepare accurate costing reports, MIS reports, and financial presentations.
Ensure proper inventory valuation and cost allocation.




Support pricing decisions through detailed cost and margin analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal cost-control policies.

Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related field.
CA, CMA, or MBA in Finance is an added advantage.
8–12 years of relevant experience in costing, cost accounting, or financial analysis, preferably in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, inventory management, and variance analysis.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities effectively.
