We are looking for a creative, smart, talented and detail-oriented 2D Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of interior design concepts, 2D drafting and AutoCAD, with the ability to prepare detailed floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations and working drawings.
Candidates should be willing to visit project sites, understand in office requirements, coordinate with the execution team and ensure that designs are properly implemented.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare 2D floor plans, furniture layouts, interior elevations and detailed working drawings.
Create accurate interior design drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop design concepts and convert client requirements into practical drawings.
Visit project sites to take measurements and understand site conditions.
Coordinate with site supervisor and execution teams.
Monitor site progress and ensure designs are implemented according to approved drawings.
Make necessary drawing modifications based on site requirements.
Assist in material selection, space planning and design coordination.
Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned drawings and projects.
Able to multitask.
Robust understanding of residential designing and plans.
Educational Qualifications
B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture is also preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and 2D drafting is required.
Experience
1 yr Prior experience in interior designing and site visits will be an added advantage.
