Legal and Compliance

Position Summary

The Legal Department is responsible for ensuring that all activities within the organization comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The primary role of the Legal Department is to mitigate legal risks, provide legal counsel, and handle corporate legal affairs efficiently. The team provides legal guidance on corporate governance, litigation, compliance, intellectual property, and contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Advisory

Provide legal advice on business operations, strategy, and regulatory matters

Interpret and monitor relevant laws and ensure company-wide compliance

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and business partners while ensuring that the contract comply all applicable laws, company policies, and industry standards

Litigation Management

Oversee disputes, including case assessment, strategy development, and resolution

Coordinate with internal teams and manage external counsel when required

Review pleadings, settlement proposals, and ensure litigation compliance with regulatory standards

Statutory & Factory Compliance

Maintain and update the statutory and factory compliance calendar





Ensure timely completion of all compliance requirements and accurate recordkeeping

Risk Management

Identify, evaluate, and mitigate legal risks across business operations and contracts

Recommend preventive measures to avoid legal exposure

Statutory Filings

Ensure all statutory filings are completed accurately and submitted to the respective authorities on time

Liaise with government departments to address queries and resolve discrepancies

Insurance Claims

Manage all insurance policies and related documentation

File, track, and coordinate insurance claims with insurers

Ensure timely settlement and closure of claims

Qualifications and Skills Required

Graduate – minimum LLB with active bar membership, CS Qualification.

Relevant experience in corporate law, compliance, contract management, and litigation

Strength in analytical, communication, negotiation, problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work setting, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
