Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance
Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to identify mechanical or safety issues.
Perform basic preventative maintenance and report defects or mechanical problems.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure protected operating conditions.

Cargo Handling
Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
Secure cargo properly to prevent damage or loss during transit.

Route Planning & Scheduling
Plan effective routes considering traffic, weather, and delivery deadlines.




Meet delivery schedules and adjust plans when delays occur.

Documentation & Compliance
Maintain detailed logs of working hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery activities.
Comply with federal/state trucking regulations, including hours‑of‑service rules.
Handle shipment paperwork such as bills of lading and delivery receipts.

Communication & Customer Service
Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, shippers, and customers.
Provide professional customer service and resolve delivery‑related issues.

Safety & Operational Awareness
Remain alert while driving and follow all safety protocols.
Report accidents, violations, or incidents encountered on the road.
