Qualification: Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering
Roles & Responsibilities
Handle Body-in-White (BIW) manufacturing processes, including sheet metal body assembly and fabrication.
Plan, monitor and improve BIW production processes to achieve production targets.
Work on spot welding, MIG welding, robotic welding and fixture-based assembly processes.
Ensure proper fitment, alignment, dimensional accuracy and quality of body components.
Handle process troubleshooting and resolve production-related issues.
Monitor welding parameters, cycle time and process efficiency.
Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance and tooling teams for smooth operations.
Identify and reduce rejection,
rework and material wastage through process improvement.
Handle fixture validation, jig inspection and process trials.
Maintain process documentation, quality records and follow 5S and safety standards.
