JOB DESCRIPTION – RESTAURANT CAPTAIN

Position: Restaurant Captain

Department: Food & Beverage (F&B;)

Job Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant floor operations.
Welcome guests and ensure excellent customer service.
Manage table allocations, reservations and guest seating.
Take food and beverage orders and ensure timely service.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth operations.
Conduct staff briefings and allocate daily duties.
Monitor staff grooming, discipline and service standards.
Handle customer complaints and resolve service-related issues professionally.
Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness and restaurant hygiene.
Monitor billing accuracy and coordinate with the cashier.
Upsell food and beverages to achieve sales targets.
Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures.





Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations.
Valuable communication and leadership skills.
Knowledge of food and beverage service.
Ability to manage staff and handle customer complaints.
Skilled personality and customer-oriented approach.
Ability to work versatile shifts.

Key Expectations
Maintain discipline and teamwork among service staff.
Ensure excellent guest satisfaction.
Maintain coordination between service, kitchen and bar departments.
Take responsibility for overall floor management during the shift.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
