We are looking for a qualified and experienced Inspection Engineer for our Steel Casting Foundry – Machine Shop Division.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out in-process and final inspection of machined steel valve castings.
Inspect components as per engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Inspect critical dimensions, tolerances, machining allowances and surface finish.
Operate and handle precision measuring instruments.
Prepare inspection reports and dimensional reports.
Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements.
Coordinate with Production, Quality and CNC machining teams.
Identify, analyse and report machining defects and non-conformities.
Monitor rejection, rework and corrective actions.
Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
Support customer and third-party inspections.

Technical Knowledge Required:




Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge and Height Gauge.
Dial Gauge, Depth Gauge and Thread Gauges.
CMM operation and programming knowledge will be an added advantage.
Surface Roughness Tester.
Knowledge of GD&T;, geometric tolerances and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.

Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:
3–6 years of experience in machining inspection / precision engineering.
Experience in steel valve casting machining will be preferred.
Valuable knowledge of dimensional inspection and quality control.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
