Key purpose of the Job

The Senior - Executive is responsible for implementing the Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S;) standards and compliance requirements for the concerned plant location.

Includes implementation of safety processes, monitoring adherence to safety standards by employees and contractors / outsourced staff, safety training,



coordinating safety committee meetings and conducting OH&S; audits for compliance.

Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementation of checklists, inspections and audits of OH&S; requirements, as per SOPs, statutory and compliance requirements
Coordinate plant OH&S; initiatives, including safety training, safety committee meetings, reporting / investigation of incidents, PTW implementation, etc.
Work with the internal and external stake holders for achievement of plant OH&S; objectives, including MIS and reporting as per guidelines

Education

Diploma in any discipline with Diploma or Certification in Industrial Safety

Experience

3 to 4+ years of experience in the safety function, with understanding of functional statutory, compliance, certification and liaison requirements
