The Shift Supervisor will support shift-based production operations of Optics The role requires solid understanding of optics processes, production tracking, data collection and analysis Shift Coordination
Execute daily production tasks across polishing, grinding, cementing, and painting as per shift plan Operator Management
Supervise assigned operators, ensuring adherence to quality standards and work instructions In-process Checks
Ensure regular inspection of workpieces for scratches, edge finish, flatness, and other critical specs Tool & Machine Readiness
Verify machine cleanliness, tool availability, and safe working conditions before shift starts Process logging
Maintain production logbooks, part movement records, and rejection reports Safety & Cleanliness




Enforce safety norms and maintain shop floor hygiene
Key Skills & Competencies: Problem solving and decision making Valuable in MS Office Time management and productivity focus Ability to work independently and in a team Good communication skills Robust analytical and reporting skills
