Job Description:
Design, develop, test, andmaintainRPG-based applications on IBMiplatforms.
Lead enhancements and bug-fixes in Supply Chan Systems (SDS), withdeepunderstanding of order fulfillment, purchase orderprocessingand transportation operations.
Develop and integrate Web Services, JSON, and Web API
Translate business requirements into high-quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable code.
Work collaboratively with Product Owners, QA, and multiple application and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end Supply Chain business solutions.
Conduct root cause analysis and performance tuning of the applications.
Modernize legacy RPG code (e.g., RPG III to RPG IV/ILE/Free Format) wherenecessaryensuring high performance and reliability.




Analysing and debugging the existing RPG codes and create documentation based on the same for modernisation purpose.
Create andmaintaintechnical documentation, including code reviews and release notes.
Comply withChange Management, PCI, PII, SOX policies and best practices.
Provide technical mentorship to junior developers.

Requirements
8+ years of RPG development experience.
Solid hands-on with IBMi(AS/400, iSeries).
Proficiencyin CL, DDS, DB2/400, and service programs.
Robust performancetuning and troubleshooting skills.
Experience integrating RPG with external systems via APIs/JSON.
Solid knowledge of supply chain processes.
