Who We re Looking For
MethodTech is scaling the core infrastructure that powers our systematic-investing platform. We re looking for a hands-on Platform Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of our on-prem + AWS stack spanning servers, storage, LAN, VMs, distributed compute, and caching layers. If you thrive on designing resilient systems and automating everything you touch, you ll fit right in.
3 6 years of hands-on experience with Linux systems engineering, on-prem networking, and AWS production workloads
Scripting & IaC expertise (Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible or equivalents)
Job-scheduler proficiency (Airflow, Celery, Cronicle, Rundeck, etc.)
Virtualization & container orchestration experience (KVM/VMware/Proxmox; Kubernetes/Docker Swarm)
Distributed caching & compute tuning (Redis, Memcached,
parallel compute frameworks)
Network troubleshooting & performance optimization (tcpdump/Wireshark; throughput & latency tuning)
Solid documentation habits and an automation-first mindset
Nice-to-have: exposure to high-performance/low-latency trading settings, CI/CD tooling, and Python application development
