Role Description The Solar Technician role is a full time, in office position based in India. The Solar Technician will install, assemble, and maintain solar power systems, including panels, wiring, mounting structures, and related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site assessments, performing electrical and mechanical connections, testing system performance, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and documentation of work performed to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with local standards. The Solar Technician will work closely with project managers, engineers,



and clients to support successful project delivery and timely resolution of operational issues.

Qualifications
Solid knowledge of solar systems and solar power technologies, with experience in installation and maintenance.
Understanding of the solar industry and power generation principles, including basic electrical and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting solar system performance issues and identifying root causes in power generation equipment.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in electrical, electronics, renewable energy, or a related field.
Experience working on rooftops and outdoor sites, with adherence to safety protocols and use of PPE.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals.
Basic knowledge of local electrical codes and standards; prior field experience in solar projects is an advantage.
Good communication skills, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a project team.
