Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager with 10–12+ years of relevant experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, established relationships with government departments, and proven capabilities in business development, tender management, and project acquisition.

Key Responsibilities
Identify current business opportunities in Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and wastewater management projects.
Develop liaison and maintain strong qualified relationships with government departments, government authorities, municipal corporations, consultants, and other key stakeholders
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and coordination skills.
Identify upcoming projects, monitor tenders, coordinate bid submissions, and support the acquisition of new projects.
Understand project specifications, technical requirements, tender documents, and the scope of water and wastewater treatment projects.
Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients,



consultants, contractors, and decision-makers.
Track market trends, competitor activities, upcoming infrastructure projects, and new business opportunities.
Coordinate with the technical, estimation, tendering, and project execution teams to ensure effective proposal development and timely submissions.
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Proven experience in business development and securing projects in the water and wastewater sector.
Experience in government projects, tendering, and infrastructure project acquisition will be preferred.
Maintain a pipeline of prospective projects, track business opportunities, and provide regular updates to management.

Must Have skills:
Must be able to develop proper MIS
Open and Establish new markets (new geography or recent vertical)
Have an overall knowledge of current running projects to strengthen liaison
Look into development of company brand and goodwill in the market through varied exercises
Go getter attitude and aspiration to convert deals.
Political and geographical market knowhow with understanding of funds and schemes.
