1. On-the-Floor Supervision & Execution

- Supervise daily floor activities including offloading, receiving verification, binning, put-away, order picking, packing, and loading.
- Assign tasks to contract labor, loaders, and forklift operators according to daily dispatch and receipt targets set by the Warehouse In-Charge.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of goods to minimize material damage or contamination.

2. Physical Stock & Inventory Verification

- Conduct daily cycle counts, bin checks, and periodic physical stock audits as directed.
- Ensure physical items are strictly stored according to batch numbers, location codes, and FIFO/FEFO principles.
- Report any physical damage, quantity discrepancies, or damaged packaging immediately to the Warehouse In-Charge.

3. Documentation & System Entry Support

- Check physical goods against vendor Invoices, Delivery Challans, and Packing Lists upon arrival.
- Prepare basic dispatch documentation, Gate Passes, and physical loading slips.
- Assist in updating stock registers or entering basic stock movement data into the WMS/ERP system.

4. Safety, MHE Handling & Housekeeping





- Ensure all workers wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times on the shop floor.
- Monitor proper operation and daily checks of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) like forklifts, hand pallet trucks (HPT), and stackers.
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free aisle ways, loading docks, and storage bays.

Qualifications & Competencies

- Education: Higher Secondary (12th Pass), Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Store Keeper, or Floor Lead in 3PL, logistics, manufacturing, or chemical environments.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of computer operations (MS Excel/Word); prior exposure to WMS/ERP scanning tools is an added advantage.
- Language Requirements: Working knowledge of Hindi and Gujarati is essential for team communication; basic understanding of English for document reading.
- Key Traits: Solid floor presence, time management, problem-solving, and team handling skills.
