We are looking for an experienced and creative Design Head to lead the Interior Design team, oversee design planning and execution, ensure quality standards, and deliver projects in line with client expectations, timelines, and budgets.

Role Description: The Head of Design is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for leading the overall design strategy across KRISH-V's residential and related projects. This role oversees end-to-end design management, including conceptualization, design development, and coordination with architecture, engineering, interior, and branding teams. The Head of Design will review and refine design proposals, ensure consistency with brand and project standards, and guide visual and product design aspects for marketing materials, model units, and common areas. Daily responsibilities include managing and mentoring the design team, collaborating closely with project managers, sales, and construction teams, and ensuring that all design deliverables meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements. The role also involves staying current with design trends, materials, and technologies relevant to real estate and interiors, and presenting design concepts to senior leadership and external stakeholders as needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the overall Interior Design department and design team.
2. Develop innovative and practical design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
3. Oversee space planning, 2D/3D drawings, material selection, BOQ, and design presentations.
4. Review and approve design layouts, drawings,



and technical specifications.
5. Coordinate with Sales, Pre-Sales, BOQ, Procurement, Factory, and Execution teams.
6. Ensure design accuracy, quality standards, and timely project completion.
7. Handle client meetings, design presentations, feedback, and revisions.
8. Manage multiple projects and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
9. Establish design standards, workflows, and quality control procedures.
10. Mentor and develop designers while monitoring team performance and productivity.
11. Identify opportunities to improve design processes, creativity, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Interior Design, preferably in residential interiors.
- Strong expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar design tools.
- Excellent knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, BOQ, and technical drawings.
- Proven experience in leading and managing large design teams.
- Strong project management, client-handling and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
