The role in a gist:

In this role, you will handle loan-portfolio accounting under Ind AS 109, preparing EIR and transaction cost amortization schedules for the loan book. You will interpret commercial terms in vendor and partner agreements to ensure correct accounting treatment. Day-to-day work involves managing large loan-level datasets in Excel and Tally or an ERP, along with reconciliations and close coordination with business, operations and partner teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly commission computations for channel partners, direct selling agents (DSAs) and
- marketing agencies, based on disbursement data and in line with the payout terms of each partner agreement.
- Interpret clawback provisions in partner agreements (e.g. early foreclosure, delinquency, cancellation) and compute clawback amounts on applicable cases.
- Initiate recovery of clawback amounts, through adjustment against future payouts or direct recovery, and track them to closure.
- Record month-end provisions for commission payable and reverse them on receipt of invoices.




- Perform end-to-end reconciliation of commission across computations, provisions, invoices and payments, and of clawbacks raised against amounts recovered.
- Reconcile balances with partner statements and resolve differences.
- Validate partner invoices against approved computations before payment.
- Prepare channel-wise CAC computations and related MIS for management.
- Prepare schedules and support internal, statutory and tax audits for commission and CAC.

Qualifications & Experience

- B.Com/M.Com or CA Inter with 2–4 years of experience in accounting, month-end close or partner payout computation.
- Ability to interpret partner agreements and apply payout and clawback terms accurately.
- Solid reconciliation skills and advanced Excel proficiency for handling large datasets.
- Working knowledge of Tally or an ERP.
- Exposure to the NBFC, fintech or financial services sector preferred.
