Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Chartered Accountant to manage financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, costing, audit coordination and financial control activities. The candidate will support management in financial planning, performance monitoring and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. MIS Reporting & Financial Analysis

- Prepare monthly, weekly and periodic MIS reports for management.
- Analyse financial performance, revenue, expenses, profitability and variances.
- Prepare dashboards and management reports highlighting key financial indicators.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
- Generate business insights to support management decisions.

2. Budgeting & Financial Planning

- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and business plans.
- Coordinate with various departments to collect budget requirements.
- Monitor budget utilisation and identify deviations.
- Prepare budget versus actual reports and highlight cost overruns.
- Support forecasting, cash flow planning and financial projections.

3. Auditing & Compliance

- Coordinate internal and statutory audits.
- Review financial transactions, accounting records and supporting documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Monitor internal financial controls and identify process gaps.




- Assist in audit documentation and closure of audit observations.

4. Costing & Manufacturing Finance

- Analyse manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labour and overheads.
- Monitor product-wise and process-wise costing.
- Review inventory valuation, stock reconciliation and consumption reports.
- Analyse production costs and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Monitor wastage, material variances and production efficiencies.

5. Accounts & Financial Controls

- Review general ledger, journal entries and financial statements.
- Monitor accounts payable, receivables and outstanding balances.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing.
- Ensure accuracy of accounting entries and financial documentation.
- Strengthen financial processes and internal controls.

6. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Support GST, TDS and other applicable statutory compliance.
- Coordinate tax audits and preparation of required schedules.
- Ensure timely filing and reconciliation of statutory returns.
- Maintain proper documentation for tax assessments and audits.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of accounting, finance and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of MIS reporting and budgeting.
- Knowledge of internal audit and statutory compliance.
- Understanding of manufacturing costing and inventory management.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle or Tally.
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
