- Translate agreed scope into Epics, Features and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Structure and prioritise the backlog across phased delivery, with traceability to agreed deliverables.
- Manage scope by identifying out-of-scope requests and raising change requests.
- Groom stories with the development team and clarify requirements during sprints.
- Run sprint demos and milestone reviews with the client and secure acceptance sign-off.
- Coordinate UAT and manage defect triage with the client.
- Prepare handover documentation and support knowledge transfer to client teams.
- Provide regular status updates on progress, risks and open decisions.
Must Have
- Hands-on Product Owner experience on client-facing application builds.
- Strong requirement elicitation and documentation skills.
- Experience writing User Stories with transparent, testable acceptance criteria.
- Backlog prioritisation and scope control in phased or milestone-based delivery.
- Experience running sprint demos, UAT and client sign-off.
- Experience delivering a new application from requirements to handover in a client-vendor model.
- Clear written and verbal communication with client stakeholders.
Good to Have
- Understanding of release management, release windows, change freezes or deployment scheduling.
- Familiarity with ITSM and change processes, such as ServiceNow.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira for backlog management.
- Ability to produce wireframes or work with UX on screen flows.
- CSPO or equivalent certification.
