Functional Responsibilities Senior Executive, R2R GL Accountant

- Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes while adhering to internal controls and operational procedures.
- Uphold Sodexos core valuesservice spirit, team spirit, and spirit of progress and ethical principles including trust, respect, transparency, and integrity.
- Foster a culture of meritocracy, transparency, and ethical conduct within the team.
- Manage pre-close and month-end closing activities in compliance with IFRS, local accounting standards, and company policies.
- Consistently meet defined SLAs and KPIs for all assigned processes. Key Process Ownership
- Fixed Assets: Handle asset creation, booking, disposal, depreciation runs, and schedule preparation. Ensure minimal CWIP balances.
- Intercompany Transactions: Book invoices, perform HFM reporting and reconciliation, resolve breaks with counterparties, and post related bank receipts.
- Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate SONAR and HFM submissions at entity level per group timelines.
- Accruals: Post monthly accruals for expenses and provisions to ensure accurate financial representation.
- SG&A; Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of Selling, General & Administrative expenses to support cost control and variance explanations.
- Reconciliations & Analysis: Identify and follow up on open/unreconciled items; conduct monthly and quarterly flux analysis on intercompany-related balance sheet and P&L; accounts.




- Documentation Tracking: Maintain trackers for missing or delayed documentation to ensure audit readiness and process compliance.
- General Ledger: Post journal entries, corrections, and reclassifications to maintain accurate financial records.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal, external, and tax audit requirements.
- Systems & Data Flow: Understand end-to-end data flow across systems and ledgers to support issue resolution.
- ERP Implementation: Actively contribute to ERP rollout phases including UAT, parallel run, and go-live. • Other R2R Activities: Support any additional Record-to-Report tasks as assigned.

Experience

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in intercompany accounting, including journal preparation and posting, HFM reporting, and reconciliationpreferably within a Shared Services environment.
- Strong command of Local GAAP and IFRS, with proven application in month-end close and financial reporting.
- Deep expertise in end-to-end finance operations, particularly in intercompany and general ledger accounting.
- Proficient in financial systems such as MS Dynamics 365, SAP, HFM, and other reporting tools.
- Skilled in escalating and resolving accounting issues through appropriate channels to ensure timely closure.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, both written and verbal.
- Capable of performing under pressure in rapid-paced, deadline-driven environments
