Key Responsibilities

1. Handle receipt, verification, storage and issuance of raw materials, packing materials and consumables.
2. Perform inward material activities, including physical verification against purchase orders and delivery challans.
3. Coordinate with QA/QC for sampling, testing and release of raw materials and packaging materials.
4. Ensure proper storage conditions for materials as per approved specifications.
5. Maintain material status identification such as Quarantine, Approved, Rejected and Under Test.
6. Execute material dispensing activities as per approved SOPs and production requirements.
7. Maintain FIFO / FEFO practices for inventory management.
8. Handle cold storage materials and temperature-sensitive materials with proper monitoring.
9. Maintain warehouse temperature and humidity monitoring records.

Ensure proper segregation and storage of raw materials, packaging materials, rejected materials and finished goods.
11. Maintain stock registers, GRN, material issue slips and inventory records.
12. Perform physical stock verification and reconciliation with ERP inventory.
13. Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Purchase and Planning departments for material availability.
14. Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, data integrity and safety requirements.
15. Participate in internal audits, regulatory audits and warehouse inspections.
16. Maintain housekeeping, pest control and 5S activities in warehouse areas.
