Role & responsibilities

- Manage incoming quality inspection of sheet metal, fabricated and automotive components.
- Ensure quality checks for chassis, chassis peripheral parts and fabricated assemblies.
- Verify manufacturing processes including cutting, pressing, stamping, welding, bending and fabrication.
- Conduct dimensional, visual, weld quality and component testing as per drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers for quality issues, audits and corrective actions.
- Handle supplier quality, PPAP, APQP, 8D, RCA, CAPA and process audits.
- Lead and mentor a team of 23 quality inspectors.
- Monitor rejection trends, supplier PPM, inspection reports and continuous improvement activities.
